The Queen’s Gambit offers the c-pawn for central influence, not for a quick sacrifice. Black’s reply determines everything: develop against the Declined, recover c4 in the Accepted, pressure the Slav structure, or restrain the Albin pawn. Learn the branches, solve the tactical positions, then play their actual seed boards.
Eight routes compare the Declined bishop plans, Accepted pawn recovery, Slav pressure, and Albin blockade from both colors. The shared board carries each SAN sequence; individual move cards remain neutral in this build.

Source position: lines, tests, and evaluations are from the Queen's Gambit guide. The five tests remain here: Qf3 (+3.11), Bxf7+ (+3.80), cxd5 (+0.65), Bb4+ (+0.20), and Nd5 (+0.44).
The 18 boards cover pawn recovery, central space, long diagonals, queenside pressure, tactical sacrifices, and counterplay. Each Learn route returns twice, with all five guide tests included. A miss names a legal alternative; a hint points to the relevant board feature before the answer is shown.
